This committee advises the negotiating team on the proposals solicited from and suggested by the members. The negotiating team consists of the president, the VP of negotiations, and up to 5 members of the committee. Since it is a non-contract year, there is no negotiations committee.
Elections & Ratification, 2025-26

This committee shall consist of 3-5 representatives selected by HOD and are responsible for conducting annual elections, coordinating ratification voting, and ensuring that voting procedures are followed. While elections/ratifications are in progress, the committee email (wreaelections@gmail.com) is monitored.
Grievance, 2025-26
This committee consists of all voting members of the Executive Board. It is responsible for reviewing and recommending the process of all grievances as outlined in the collectively bargained grievance procedure.
Professional Development, 2025-26
Committee:
This committee works with the director of curriculum and the deputy superintendent to plan/develop professional development as well as to ensure the quality of PD for the WREA. A particular focus includes the full professional development days.
Sick Bank, 2025-26
Committee:
This committee handles requests for use of days from the sick bank. This year, Alicia Jasiekiewicz is managing Sick Bank for the EBoard.
Town and Community Outreach (TACO) team, 2025-26

The TACO team shall consist of at least three and no more than five representatives selected by the House of Delegates. The committee shall be responsible for researching local candidates, ballot questions, and warrant articles that impact the WREA or the WRSD as a whole. They will work with the EBoard and assist with social media postings.
Each year, the president may appoint other special committees as necessary. See Bylaws for more information related to responsibilities, stipends, etc.
